Drive Thru Tri-Tip Dinner

Saturday, March 15, 2025

You’re invited to take a night off cooking to help improve a home!

Proceeds from this event, including additional donations above ticket sales, will go toward home improvements. Specifically, funds raised will help remodel and renovate the Woodland home.

On March 15, there are three locations where you can pick up your meal from 5:00-6:00pm. Dinner will be available for pickup at:

  • Almond Valley Christian Reformed Church (333 S. Wilma Avenue, Ripon)

  • Escalon Christian Reformed Church (2203 California Street, Escalon)

  • Modesto Christian Reformed Church (2620 College Avenue, Modesto)

Blodgett Catering is preparing the meals. Each “family” dinner serves four people and includes a whole tri-tip, beans, salad, rolls, and cookies. The cost per family meal is $80. Please order by March 9 to reserve your dinner.

SAFE

LOVING

LIFELONG

Sierra Salem Christian Homes provides safe, spacious and comfortable homes in quiet residential neighborhoods to adults starting at age 18 and extending through the entirety of their lives. Sierra Salem creates a family atmosphere in each home. A comfortable main living area may display pictures of the home’s family on the wall. Seasonal decor helps celebrate the holidays. A large welcoming kitchen and dining area provides an opportunity to share meals and stories about each member’s day. Bedrooms display personal tastes and treasures.

Each of our homes, located in Modesto, are licensed by California’s Department of Social Services as Adult Residential Care Facilities (ARF) or by the California Department of Public Health as an Intermediate Care Facility (ICF). We welcome up to 6 adult residents in each home.

OUR MISSION

The mission of Sierra Salem Christian Homes is guided by the belief that developmentally disabled adults are indeed image bearers of God. It is our mission to provide Christ-centered security, support, and compassionate care which will encourage the residents to reach their full potential spiritually, emotionally, intellectually, socially, and physically within a loving Christian environment.

OUR VISION

Sierra Salem seeks to honor our loving God by working to provide a lifetime of high-quality Christ-like residential care, support, and training to individuals with a developmental or intellectual disability.
